Mystery Bay NSW
Mystery Bay is situated just south of Narooma on the NSW south coast. Our client had an undeveloped block with fantastic forest views as well as glimpses of the ocean and Montague Island. Our client was after indoor/outdoor living and open plan living. With large sliding doors to frame the forest view and a wonderful large deck this house is built for visits from the family and grandchildren! With the inclusion of a fun loft with ladder access we were able to give views of Montague Island and the fishing boats on the reef to its south. The light and breezy design was all about maximising the environment around the block and complimenting the lifestyle of the client.
This house was in dire need of renovation. Using some out of the box thinking we increased the floor area in the kitchen and bathroom by cantilevering the floor out to the edge of the eaves. We helped the client with the tradesman and finishes and materials selection. Our client wanted to build and IKEA kitchen themselves and we helped them create a design they could build that looked more like a custom kitchen than a flat pack. With new decks at both the front and back yards to make the most of the great outdoors. The large front sliding door frames Mount Taylor and a wonderful Manchurian Pear tree in the front yard!
Little farm ACT
This project is a 2 part design. Part 1 was to extend and renovate the house. The design is currently in the Final sketch plan phase. The brief was to add a new master bedroom with ensuite and to create a separate living area. We have also reconfigured the existing part of the house with new kitchen, bathroom and additional windows facing the northern backyard. The second part is design and landscaping the backyard to accommodate all the animals and vegetable garden. With chooks, rabbits, dogs, cats, birds and fish the yard will be a wonderful space for this young family to enjoy!
